Course Description

Career and Technical Education (CTE) empowers students to be successful citizens, workers and leaders in a global economy and gives purpose to learning by emphasizing real-world skills and practical knowledge. Students following the Occupational Course of Study (OCS) or Extended Content Standards (ECS) thrive in CTE courses when CTE teachers collaborate with EC teachers and align the student's learning outcomes with their IEP goals. In this session, CTE and EC teachers are invited to discover and apply best practices for modifying CTE blueprints aligned to a student's IEP developing an Indicator Proof of Learning to maximize student success.
