Course Description

Phenomenon-based learning is a research-based pedagogical approach that allows students to interact with science content in meaningful and impactful ways. Participants in this session will experience phenomena that lift the New North Carolina Science Standards with a particular emphasis on the 8 Science and Engineering Practices. Teaching Science is Phenomenal by Brett D. Moulding and Rodger W. Bybee will serve as the foundational text for this session.
