Our 21st century lives are awash in digital content. While video games remain popular, tabletop gaming has seen an unprecedented explosion, and today's spectrum of tabletop games range from light social games to intellectually intense, sophisticated experiences. Participants will learn a variety of contemporary game mechanics then tap into design thinking approaches to build original tabletop games and consider how this experience might be used to create powerfully engaging classroom lessons.
