Course Description

Have you heard about task-based learning and wondered how to implement it into your math classroom? Have you tried task-based learning and wondered how you could embed it more authentically and deeply into your everyday instructional practice? In this program, we will explore how to use tasks as the foundation for math learning in our classrooms. Teachers will learn what a high-quality math task looks like, and how to build lessons around a task. We will be taking a deep dive into the resources on the NC Tools 4 Teachers website that support this work in your classroom, and you will walk away with lessons you can implement immediately!
