Course Description

How do we move towards authentic and engaged learning in our social studies classrooms? Inquiry of course! Social Scientists drive their work through questioning, framing, exploring and analyzing the world around them - both past and present. Join us for a deep dive into inquiry design through the lens of the Inquiry Design Model (IDM). Engage in authentic learning through your own hands-on inquiry and turn that experience into designing an inquiry (or more) for your own students. This session is designed for 6-12 social studies teachers and anyone else who has a thirst to up their inquiry design game.
